One of the most incredible parts of what we do at Armada Glass Company isn’t just the fire or the glass—it’s the people that visit us.
Over the years, we’ve had the absolute honor of welcoming students from all over the map into our glass shop. What starts as molten glass and roaring kiln quickly turns into shared laughs, focused silence, small victories, and that moment when someone realizes they just made something real out of fire.
Our students have traveled from all over Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Minnesota, California, Arizona, Nevada, Alaska, and even Ontario, Puerto Rico, Chile, Germany, Spain, and Italy to learn, create, and experience glass firsthand. Every single one brings their own story, curiosity, and perspective—and we learn just as much from them as they do from us.
There’s something powerful about watching people from completely different places connect over a glowing gather of glass. Language, distance, and background melt away when everyone’s focused on timing and the dance between heat and gravity. Fire and glass have a way of leveling the field and bringing people together in the most human way possible.
We’re endlessly grateful to every student who’s stepped into our studio, trusted us with their time, and shared in the experience. Whether you came from down the road or across an ocean, you are part of the Armada Glass family—and your energy, creativity, and enthusiasm live on in the work we make and the stories we tell.
Here’s to many more miles traveled, torches lit, and friendships forged in flame. 🔥🧡
